EarthX Updates
Dear Mayberry Residents,
Over the past three weeks, the landscape and maintenance teams with EarthX have been working throughout the community, focusing on irrigation improvements, turf renovation, weed management, and overall landscape enhancements. Mayberry Metropolitian District wanted to share the below updates with you all:
Irrigation Audit & Repairs
Both maintenance and installation irrigation crews have completed a comprehensive audit of all District irrigation systems, identifying and repairing broken irrigation heads and leaking valves. While irrigation improvements will remain an ongoing priority, they have made significant progress in resolving many of the issues associated with the newly installed system. In addition, all controller clocks were reviewed, fault alarms were cleared, and the system is once again operating smoothly on its automated schedule. Management is pleased to report that the list of irrigation concerns continues to shrink as these improvements are completed.
Lawn Renovation Efforts
EarthX recently completed a full lawn renovation at Garden Park This work included dethatching, top dressing, slit seeding, and broadcast seeding to promote thicker, healthier turf. Fertilizer is being applied to all lawn areas and Management and EarthX are currently evaluating turf conditions throughout the remainder of the community to determine where additional attention may be needed.
New Berm Improvements
On July 9, 2026, crews completed mowing and weed treatment throughout the new berm area. This work is the first step in improving the overall appearance and health of the new landscape while bringing existing weeds under control.
Weed Management
Weed control remains a major focus across the community. In addition to routine maintenance efforts, EarthX teams are placing extra emphasis on spraying and hand-pulling weeds in problem areas. While there is still work to be done, crews are actively addressing the most persistent locations and making steady progress.
Tree & Planting Replacements
EarthX replaced over 20 trees and multiple plantings throughout the community that were within the warranty period. Additional tree and planting replacements inventory is being assembled for District Board consideration.
