Damaged Tree Incident
Dear Mayberry Residents,
On the morning of Tuesday, April 28th, we discovered tire tracks running along the sidewalk, leading to a right-of-way tree that had been knocked over. Evidence suggests that someone may have been operating an ATV or a similar vehicle at high speed, veering onto the sidewalk, either deliberately or by accident sometime between Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. The vehicle came dangerously close to the fence lines of two separate properties before ultimately damaging a community tree. While we believe that no pedestrians were injured during this incident, we cannot be certain, and the situation could have resulted in much more severe consequences.
